How to Draught Proof Chimney
Air escapes through our chimneys whether a fire is going or not. Given that hot air rises, a lot of our cosy indoor air can travel up and out of the chimney. As the warm air leaves, cold air is pulled in from other unsealed areas - such as doors and windows. To reduce draughts and conserve heat, use a chimney draught excluder or chimney cap. This helps create a cosier home and lower energy bills.
