How to Be zero waste

To achieve Zero Waste, we need to be plastic-free in the goods we buy, resulting in recycling bins with only cardboard or paper in them, and with there being nothing in our bins that go to landfill. This is no easy task for the faint of heart. To do this we must get very creative in sourcing our goods, often needing to find unique suppliers. Over time, this choice will become more accessible.

To start, audit waste at the end of the week and look at where the majority of it has come from. Then, make a conscious decision to buy items from somewhere else the week after. To do this, we will need to find zero waste shops and become more accustomed to browsing for goods.
